Uncharted (The Lost Legacy : The Insurgency)

As part of my coursework, I was assigned to recreate The Insurgency level from the game Uncharted- The Lost Legacy by Naughty Dog and Sony Interactive. Through this project I have honed my 3D environment skills, gained a better understanding of warm and cool lighting, composing a scene, and using modular PBR workflow. This environment consists of many different buildings and several props, each modelled in Autodesk Maya to match the game environment as closely as possible. As the game takes place in a war zone, the broken and damaged building was a hero asset and one of the most fun to create. Then unwrapped in Rizom UV, keeping the Texel density in mind for high-quality textures. After unwrapping, texturing was carried out in Substance Painter. 4k textures were used for buildings and props/modular assets. Finally, everything was imported to Unreal Engine for render setup and lighting.
